Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us from home.  We're using the World Wide Web more than ever.  Indeed, we have two sites so you can see our work.  I hope you'll spend a few minutes reading this letter and looking at the samples of my work included in these pages.
     I want you to see that I sincerely enjoy photographic portraiture.  All phases of picture-taking and picture-making are a delightful challenge to me.  But, most importantly, I love to make beautiful portraits of you.
      A portrait is an emotional celebration of a special event in your life:  a child's birthday, graduation from high school, a wedding or anniversary.  Our business is built around photographs of you and your loved ones, senior portraits, weddings, business portraits, families and children.
    In my portrait of you, I strive to capture the essence of your personality.  I recognize that each of us is different.  Therefore, everyone at H Horan Studio listens to you and your wishes.  Thus, we can bring the best of our style and technique together to make a portrait or wedding interpretation that reflects all your emotions, indeed, your hopes and dreams for the moment.
    Our commitment to technical excellence continues to grow through education, modern equipment and the use of electronic digital techniques.  I have had a life-long interest in photography and I offer you more than 25 years of professional photography experience.  I am a member of the Professional Photographers of Iowa,  Professional Photographers of America and the Photo Marketing Association.
    Working with me at H Horan Studio is Jamie Hudson.  Jamie brings 3 years' experience in customer service to the studio.  She is a very outgoing person who will make your visit to H Horan Studio a pleasant photographic experience and a warm part of your memories of the special life event that we capture for you.
    Our studio facilities are located in the City Center Plaza, at 89 2nd Street in Coralville, Iowa.  Our studio phone number, fax number, and email address are found at the end of this letter and in several other places such as the title bar of this Web page.  I think that's "cool."
    I hope you enjoy the samples of my portraiture.  However, these pictures represent such a few samples that I hope you would come to our studio and see all of my displayed work for yourself.
    We offer a choice of wedding photography styles and assorted packages.  We like to meet with you because finding a photographer is like buying the wedding dress -- you need to see the various photographic styles and "try them on" to see if they fit your style.
    From May thru October, a Saturday wedding can range in price from around $1800 to about $5000 depending on the selected package.  Most brides end up spending around $3000 to $4000 with us.  Off peak season, or non-Saturday weddings can start around $1000 but only one photographer is present.  No black and white candid photography is taken.
